Shedding light isn’t only the storytelling strategy, but it’s also the direction for treatment. Light is essential to the Colorado landscape, and for everyone it means something different, but symbolic nonetheless. For our stories we wanted to mirror the colors and transitions to represent hope.

In order to execute on this idea, we used a combination of gels and a low-key lighting set up to illuminate the beauty in recovery and give our subjects the spotlight their stories deserve.
